HOME Services Integrated Telecommunications Projects Implementation

During the last decade, the company has undertaken a high number of telecommunications projects of medium and major size. The owners of these projects were the alternative ISPs and the government telecommunications organisation as well.

Most of these implemented projects were about the construction of backbone optical networks (MAN, WAN) and they were consisted of the supply and installation of the cabling equipment, digging, interconnections, terminations and verifications of the well being of the cabling infrastructure.

In the above mentioned projects and regarding the digging, some newer and more efficient techniques were used such as the ‘mini trenching’. The special technique of ‘blown fiber’ was used as well in order to minimize the installation time and to save optical capacity which was not supposed to used immediately.

A high number of projects were about the infrastructure of buildings (LAN), verification of the well being of the network and maintenance of existing networks.

Since 2004, Link S.A. supplies, installs and maintains active broadband equipment (DSLAM) for alternative ISPs.

Aiming always on the possibility of provisioning full telecommunications solutions on the last mile, the company represents international vendors of cabins manufacturers and manufacturers of power supplies. This allows a safer and more efficient installation of active telecommunications equipment closer to the end user.
